Since the weather has been so great lately I thought it would be fun to go have a picnic in the park for dinner on Sunday. I got everything for sandwiches and made potato salad and Watergate salad. Mark and Mel brought the chips, cookies and some bread to feed the ducks.

This is my mother-in-law’s salad that Laurie posted a while ago. I made this salad for Heather’s baby shower and changed the name to “Green Envy Salad” for purposes of fitting in with the theme. Everyone loved this salad and I loved how easy it was to make.Â

Gary’s sister, Sara, has a new blog! I don’t know where I am going to find the time to not do more of my housework, but I will find a way. If you would like to stalk visit Sara’s site, click on the following link…

This is my favorite way to make a pot roast because I don’t need to make any gravy. I don’t mind making gravy, but this just takes away that extra step.

I know I’ve already told you several times today, but Happy Birthday! We love you and hope that you had a great day shopping. (Who wouldn’t?) “If you vote for me, all of your wildest (birthday) dreams will come true.” (Sorry this is so late, but I did post it on time…barely.)
Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you and hope you had a wonderful day! Love from Olivia, Holden and baby Gray (and Gary and Heidi, too).
While shopping during last Halloween season I found a ‘koon skin cap and I had to have it. I ended up finding two more hats shortly after the first and that was when I came up with my “picture plan”.
I had the clothes already and needed to shop around for the props. I found my [...]
