I love July 4th. Not because of the fire works. Not because of the Cruise-In. Not for the celebration of freedom. I love July 4th beause it means that Auntie Patti and Uncle Al will most likely visit. It’s always fun when Auntie Patti is here.

Time to play in the ditch. I know it is dirty, stinkin’, filthy, germy water, but we love to play in it. I loved to play in the ditch outside my granny’s house and I love to watch my kids play in the ditch outside our house.

I love summer.
